Shipping Policy

At Bikegearwarehouse.com.au we want to provide you with the most cost effective and reliable shipping methods possible, giving you the choice to select the method that suits best.
Shipping Methods
We use a combination of Australia Post and Couriers, depending on the shipping method selected during the checkout stage.
* Regular Shipping - Uninsured. This shipping method is FREE for all Australian customers. Expect up to 7 days for delivery in Australia. No tracking number is provided. The customer is responsible for following up with the shipping vendor, and the customer is responsible if the shipment is lost in transit or after delivery.
* Regular Shipping - Insured. This shipping method attracts a flat fee of AUD10 for Australian customers. Expect up to 7 days for delivery in Australia. Tracking number is provided. BGW is responsible for following up with the shipping vendor, and BGW is responsible if the shipment is lost in transit.
* Express Shipping - Uninsured. This shipping method attracts a flat fee of AUD10 for Australian customers. Expect up 3 days for delivery in Australia. Orders to capital cities and major regional centres are often delivered the day after the shipment leaves our warehouse. Tracking number is provided. The customer is responsible for following up with the shipping vendor, and the customer is responsible if the shipment is lost in transit or after delivery.
* Express Shipping - Insured. This shipping method attracts a flat fee of AUD20 for Australian customers. Expect up 3 days for delivery in Australia. Orders to capital cities and major regional centres are often delivered the day after the shipment leaves our warehouse. Tracking number is provided. BGW is responsible for following up with the shipping vendor, and BGW is responsible if the shipment is lost in transit.
Please note: When nominating Express Shipping, sure that you leave an address that is attended. If it is not obvious that is is being delivered to a business address, we will call you to confirm, before the item is shipped out. If the item cannot be delivered, and needs to bring the ordered item back to their depot, you may be charged for the re-delivery. This can be anywhere from $10 - $30, depending on location. Also note that we do not deliver to post office boxes. The shipping times above are approximate. In some instances you will receive your item(s) earlier or later than the times indicated. This is simply the nature of shipping, and is outside of our control.
New Zealand Customers. Only two options are available to New Zealand customers, Uninsured Regular Shipping, and Insured Regular Shipping. Expected delivery times to New Zealand are between 5-10 days.
Shipping Times
For credit cards - regular orders placed will be shipped the next business day if placed after 10am. If express shipping is selected, and the delivery address is confirmed as being attended, orders placed before 2pm will be shipped the same day.
For PayPal - regular orders placed will be shipped the next business day if placed after 10am. Please note that PayPal can take up to 3 days to release funds. Items will not be shipped until the funds have been released. If express shipping is selected, and the delivery address confirmed as being attended, orders placed before 2pm will be shipped the same day.
For direct deposits - orders placed will be shipped the day after the amount has been received by us.
Buying over the Internet and pick up from our Warehouse Retail Shop
Internet orders be picked up from our warehouse.
Please note that our minimum order amount is AUD44.
