At Bikegearwarehouse.com.au we want to provide you with the most cost effective and reliable shipping methods possible, giving you the choice to select the method that suits best.
Shipping Methods
We use a combination of Australia Post and Couriers.
Note: As of 1st July 2011 our free shipping option has changed. Orders of $100 and above qualifies for free shipping (regular shipping - uninsured). Orders under $100 incur a $9.90 shipping charge (regular shipping - uninsured). Please note that Priority Shipping and Insured Shipping is only available on our website for orders above $100. If you wish for one of these shipping options, please call us on 1300 70 00 44 to place your order and our sales consultant will add it.
* Regular Shipping - Uninsured. Delivery will vary depending on delivery address. Expect a 1-3 day delivery time to NSW, 2-4 day delivery time to QLD and VIC, and 3-10 days to TAS, NT and WA. Tracking number is provided. The customer is responsible for following up with the shipping vendor for parcel tracking, and the customer is responsible if the shipment is lost and/or damaged in transit, or after delivery. Orders placed before 2pm will be sent within the next two business days.
* Regular Shipping - Insured. This shipping method attracts a flat fee of AUD10 (excl. GST) for Australian customers. Delivery times are the same same as for 'Regular Shipping - Uninsured'. Tracking number is provided. BGW is responsible for following up with the shipping vendor, and BGW is responsible if the shipment is lost and/or damaged in transit. Orders placed before 2pm will be sent within the next two business days.
* Priority Shipping - Uninsured. This shipping method attracts a flat fee of AUD10 (excl. GST) for Australian customers. Tracking number is provided. The customer is responsible for following up with the shipping vendor, and the customer is responsible if the shipment is lost and/or damaged in transit, or after delivery. * Local Pickup from BGW. Orders can be picked up from our premises at 72a Topham Road, Smeaton Grange NSW 2567, 9am - 4pm Monday - Friday. Please note that we do not accept drop-offs. All drop-offs must be mailed to us with an approved Return Authorisation (RA) number. Please call 1300 70 00 44 for an RA number.
* New Zealand Customers. Only one option is available to New Zealand customers, Uninsured Regular Shipping. Expected delivery times to New Zealand are between 5-10 days. We are unfortunately not able to ship Hotbodies race bodywork kits to New Zealand.
* Drop Shipping. Some items are being shipped directly from our suppliers. This is called drop shipping. It will clearly state in the item description on the website when an item is drop shipped from the supplier.
Please note that standard Australian delivery times and conditions do not apply to drop shipping. The estimated delivery time for drop shipped items is clearly marked in the item description on the website.
Also note that Insurance and Priority Shipping cannot be selected for drop shipped items, and if any of these options are selected, the associated cost will be deducted before we process your order.
Also note that there are conditions beyond our control when items are shipped from overseas, such as industrial relations actions etc. Once an order for a drop-shipped item has been placed, we also pay the manufacturer Therefore we will not accept cancellations for drop-shipped items, if the circumstances of a delay is outside of our control.
Items are not sent until full payment has been received.
